Transaction and activity information: listings you create or save, inquiries, NDAs signed, messages sent through the platform, community posts, and support requests.

Technical information: device and browser data, IP address, pages viewed, and referring links, collected automatically to operate and secure the platform.

2. How we use information

To operate your account, publish and match listings, gate confidential details behind NDAs, deliver messages and notifications, and provide customer support.

To improve the platform, measure performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

To send transactional email (verification, password reset, inquiry alerts, valuation results) and, where permitted, occasional product updates you can unsubscribe from.

3. How we share information

With other members as needed for the feature you are using — for example, a listing owner sees the identity of a buyer who signs an NDA or sends an inquiry, and a professional you contact receives your contact details.

With service providers who host our infrastructure, send our email, process payments, and provide analytics, under contract and only for those purposes.

When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of BizBroker+ and its members.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Confidentiality of listings

Sensitive listing details may be hidden until a non-disclosure agreement is signed. When you sign an NDA, we record your identity, timestamp, and signature to enforce that agreement, and we share it with the listing owner or their representative.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure traffic, and evaluate advertising performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.

6. Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements.

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and row-level access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

7. Your choices

You can review and update most profile information from your account settings, unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message, and request deletion of your account by contacting support.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, port, or delete your personal information.

The platform is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to anyone under 18.
